No open seats for biometrics

Hi,

I live in NYC and am applying for Canada visa. I have to make an appointment for biometrics but currently there are no appointments available in new york VAC. I was wondering if there are any ways to know when the consulate will provide more appointments and if there is anything I can do besides keeping waiting.

1. Go to one of the Application support centres https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...igns/biometrics/where-to-give-biometrics.html

  • Application Support Centers (ASCs) in the United States
    • You can only go to an ASC if you got a letter from us that tells you to give biometrics.
    • No other services are offered (only biometrics collection).
    • ASCs are also available in some U.S. overseas territories.

If I understand this correctly, to be able to give biometrics in an ASC, I need to get a letter. How am I supposed to get this letter?

I am from Pakistan and i got my trv boimatrics letter while i was in USA LAST WEEK and i also not found any appointment i i went to seattle and there i went direct to ASC as a walk in costumer and i asked them that i want to give biometrics for Canada trv .they said ok no need for appointment and same time.i gave boimateics. You just try and Asc there is different area for biometrics take letter from.Canadain embassy instruction letter for bio.

Could you tell me how you got the biometrics instruction letter? On the website, it says "After you pay the biometrics fee, you’ll get a letter confirming that you need to give your biometrics and where you can go." I already paid the biometrics fee but did not get the instruction letter.

How long did it take for you to get the instruction letter after you paid the fee?

Now a days they take time to.send the letter for boimatrics i submeyyed fee on 23 dec and got letter for boimatrics on 7th jan 2019 .so wait if time.pass more you can send them em
