Following is the information I collected from some where else.


For New Delhi, which has an annual quota of 17,500, there were (a) 6,552 pending applications lodged after 25 June 2010 and (b) 18,058, lodged between between 27 February 2008 and 25 June 2010. That inventory increased by 11,536 files within nine months. The number of pending files for those who had applied before 27 February 2008 stood at 98,695.
