I’ve just completed the requirements of a master program and received my work permit very recently. This permit was issued on 27 Sep, and the current student permit and TRV I am holding will expire at the end of this month. Now I am planning a trip back to my home country after the graduation ceremony (which will be held on 31 Oct) and then come back to Canada for job hunting. That’s the reason why I need to renew my TRV immediately, but the problem is:
I am still in search of job (i.e unemployed) right now so I can not provide the Canadian embassy with the employer letter or other “proof of employment” , which is required for the TRV application.
is there anyone could give me some advice? Am I still eligible to get a TRV even though I am temporarily unemployed now?
