No interview's according to IRCC call centre

I contacted IRCC by phone this morning to find out what was happening with my application. Like many here NOTHING is being done but it's still in process. BUT I did ask about the interview portion of the application and I was told that they are Not doing the interview portion, just the tests and then the Oath ceremony. So if you're not required to do the test due to age, once your application is completed they will contact you for the Oath ceremony, no interview needed.

Yes. If nothing is changed by the time your application is processed, you will be invited to a virtual oath ceremony.
He got 1 week of notice. And you need to be in Canada to attend it via Zoom.

I saw someone in a different forum asking for help on this. Since the person is an elderly and doesn't speak English well.
