I am hoping that somebody on this forum has some experience with FOSS notes. I sent in a sponsorship application for my husband inland which was received by the CIC March 12. I received an email verifying that the application was in process as of June 29, 2012. October 1st my husband received an email stating his file had been transferred to the Hamilton office. This was done without AIP. I ordered FOSS notes and received them today. The only thing they show is that he was granted an extension on his visitor visa until July 2012 to accommodate his PR, that his open work permit application was denied because it was sent following the application for PR and they processed it instead of holding it and it tells you that the file was received at the Hamilton office October 16. Because the PR application hasn't been entered into the system it doesn't show proof of medical or police certificate. Complete for Service Committment - lock in date March 12/12. Other than that nothing else. No reason why the file was transferred. When I called the CIC to ask if they could explain it they said that the officer doesn't give a reason that if for some reason they can't do the assessment they forward it to a local office and now he tells me that we have to wait another 4-6 months until they get around to looking at it. Has anybody had this experience?
