I’m filling out Section 4.1 (Address History) of IMM 5444 for a PR card renewal and ran into an issue with the “no gaps” rule.

Example:

FromToCityCountry
July 16, 2023PresentOttawaCanada
March 11, 2023July 16, 2023[Abroad][Abroad]
Jan 13, 2022March 10, 2023OttawaCanada

Problem is with row 2 and row 3:
  1. My flight shows I left Canada on March 10, 2023 at 10AM and,
  2. Arrived [abroad] on March 11, 2023 ( this is when my passport was stamped in a different country )
The form says Please leave no gaps in your address history

How do others handle this in Address History?
Is it acceptable to start the foreign address on the departure date to avoid a gap, even if arrival was the next day? The form wouldn't validate otherwise.

PLEASE HELP !!!

Thanks!

We marked the days travelling as "in transit" between the departure location and destination. (Vancouver to Singapore:transit).
