Hi guys,
I'm here in Canada as a TFW. I have an on-going PR application through PNP. And last week, I received my medical referral from Manila CIC office. The medical referral letter was dated July 1, 2011 (stamped). But since they only sent it through ordinary mail, it took more than a month before it arrived here. I have already forwarded my dependents' "section A" for them to accomplish theirs and I started to contact the DMP of the province where I live in right now for me to book my medical exam.
Unfortunately, the doctor (DMP) is on vacation and the earliest schedule that they can give me is on Sept 9. That is exactly 1 month after I received the medical referral. I asked the DMP's office if there is alternate doctor but there's none according to them.
I have emailed manila CIC office about this for them to be informed and at the same time asked for their advise.
I would like to ask those who had similar case on what and how did they manage to go through with the medical examination? I'm planning to just wait until the DMP of this province comes back rather than go to other Province and have my medical exam done there. I just thought that it would be just make things complicated if ever there will be a "re-do" afterwards.
I'm only worried about the "30 days" time frame indicated in the letter. I'm just hoping that with the information I relayed to Manila-CIC about my scenario, they would be considerate enough to NOT cancel my application. Besides, it is only me who will be delayed. My dependents could have theirs within the 30 days requirement.
I hope I can have some other ideas from people who had similar experience as mine. Please feel free to add to this thread.
Thank you all in advance.
