As an example, if you follow the trend on trackitt (although a small sample), you will notice that almost all the applicants with full documents submitted between Oct 2009 and Feb 2010 have been issued with visas or at least done medicals.

In any case, this is all conjecture as we are not the VO in Accra. I guess this is helping us pass time, wetin man for do!!

I'll like to thank Lukeke for availing me the details of the notary public in Zaddiah plaza, Ogudu-ojota rd, lagos. The guy was so nice & guess what ? Hi Guys,

Nice thread you've got here. I am relatively new in the forum so apologies if this has been dealt with here before. What I want is help on how to obtain Police Clearance Certificate from Naija. I have been living out of Nigeria for the last 9 years and I wouldn't know the process of obtaining the PCC. Do I have to visit Nigeria or can I get family members to help me? I would rather not want to go to naija for this if I can avoid it. Cost, logistics etc make it a difficult prospect).

9jcanada, you don't have to travel down to Nigeria for the PCC... All you need do is send down / scan a copy of your int'l passport & your passport photo to your relative or friend in Nigeria( with some money ofcourse) to take it to alagbon for the PCC, they will give him/her some forms to get your fingerprints & return back... Its a very easy process! @chibiks, the processing time in accra & bufallo are relatively the same... Processing time is basically a case by case function. Regards,

Thanks pyramid777. Glad to hear that I can get them to do this for me. Do I have to use the form from Alagbon or can I use the one the police in my country of residence use? I am just wondering since I am still going to get the PCC for my period of residence here anyway. if I could save time/money by just getting a spare finger print done at the same time and send it to my family back home.

I kinda doubt if you can use fingerprint forms from where you are except they are from the Nigerian embassy cos the forms have lots of writings that relate specifically to Nigeria, also you will also get a certificate attached to it stating if you have or do not have any criminal records in their obsolete database. In summary, the earlier you start the better... Take things one at a time to forestall you doing things without getting much results... All the best !

As at May 17th when I submitted full docs to Accra, I used a combination of Bank Certification Letters(Reference letters that state the balances in our a/cs- spouse and I; these a/cs had substantial part of our funds) and bank statements for our salary a/cs as POF. On Nov 5 however, I got documents update request frm Accra and was asked to submit 12months bank statements alongside other docs as it relate to my wrk.

Meanwhile, well done my pple. Please I need clarification on points of Education for a friend. For NOC 3112, what points will the awarded for MBBS? 20? or 25? please Seniors reply. thank u

20 Points for MBBS. It is classified as a first degree.

As for your friend MBBS he will get 22 Points. It will be counted as first degree but with lengthier years of education for NOC 3112 you say.

As at May 2010, I only submitted bank statements for the six month period (printed on the day of submission) for my current, savings and dollar account. I provided a spreasheet cover stating the balance in each account and the CAD Dollar equivalent.
