I AM NEW. I AM ALSO FROM NIGERIA. I NEED HELP THIS WHOLE THING IS CONFUSING. I AM ABOUT TO SEND MY FIRST APPLICATION. I HAVE DONE MY IELTS GENERAL TEST AND I SCORED 8. PLS, PLS, PLS CAN SOMEONE MAKE A LIST OF ALL THAT I NEED TO SEND TO THE SYDNEY CANADA OFFICE. I AM CONFUSE. I AM MARRIED BUT NO KIDS YET. I JUST READTHAT I NEED TO SEND ALL DOCUMENTS INCLUDING THE GHANA VISA OFFICE REQUIREMENT TO CANADA. IS DAT TRUE? DO I NEED TO SEND MY INTERENATIONAL PASSPORT AS WELL? DO I NEED TO SEND MY BANK STATEMENT. DO I NEED TO SEND ALL THE FOUR STEP REQUIREMENT LISTED IN THE CIC.GA.CA WEBSITE? I NEED HELP PLEASE

Please I will want more clarification on this matter, how do you know what stage of your application?
Secondly which is 1st AOR and 2nd AOR. Can someone explain better? I know AOR is acknowledgment of receipt so which one is 1st and 2nd?

You can get the status of your application by checking e-cas and secondly,second AOR is from your local CIC(Accra or depending on where you are applying from).

Employment Offers, who are legally residing in Canada and have been there for at least one year as
Temporary Foreign Workers or International Students"

Your employer has made an offer to give you a permanent job if your application is successful.

Help pls,

My spouse is currently in canada now on temporary work permit,she got their 1/10/2010 and she is currently waiting for "AOR" from "CIC",she submited application for parmanet residence 08/06/10 and the application was received in sydney on 15/06/10.The work permit just came in miraculously as she have work on it since early 2009.

My query is this,we intend to use this work permit as "arrange employment".she is still expecting"AOR" from "cic" sydney but with a fellow member of forum quoting the 1st quote stated above in is rejection letter from is visa office(London) would it still be good for us to go on as we have plan?The second quote i got from the guide explain notting is bad if she present the work permit for "arrange employment" since she is presently in canada.

please senior your contribution is highly needed.

Nurudeen am not sure about this but you can start a thread with it and get advise from other forum members. You can also pm Leon and PMM they seems to know much about happenings in canada and they are always ready to help.

To my surprise this evening,checked ecas and found my address has been updated as requested.The docs for cancellation of rep was sent last month.Anyways we will wait for the update,all things been equal am hopeful that update request will come before the end of the year.

Sis it wont be a bad idea to send the ielts result now. at least they would have all your documents in your file pending when they would review it. sometimes having it all in one place save one some reasonable time. Trust you guys are doing well? i have not been regular like before because i am writing ACCA exam in december and have been spending so much time reading.

1st is the one CIC sends to you when they receive your initial application. 2nd is the one visa office (accra in this case) send to you when your complete documents have been received by them

5.Application sent to 'PSQ' for first B'FD
At this stage, Our application is placed on a paper screening queue, in which a date will be tag
on our application for the next time they will work on it. That date is called B'FD

6. Application sent for 'PS'
Our application will be opened and reviewed on the B'FD at this stage,
CHC will review what we fiiled on our application and award points on the six
criteria if we are eligible or not.This stage is to award points only on paper
i.e what you fill on your application.That is why is called paper screening (PS)

7. Application sent back to PQ for 2nd B’FDIf we score the pass marks '67points' our application will be sent back to PQ(Paper queuing)
waiting to be reviewed at another Brought forward date in which CHC will run
background check on all your supporting documents for work experience, NOC duties, education,POF, police clearnce
and documents conformity, if all are clear a selection decision will be made. After all these, a MEDICAL REQUEST
may be issued and ask to pay for landing fee.
