Hello everyone,



my family has submitted renewal applications for our Nexus cards. While all of us scheduled interviews, I unexpectedly received approval without needing to attend one. I am unsure why this happened.


Questions:

1- Is it necessary to schedule an interview for renewal?

2- Why did we all apply simultaneously, yet I received approval without an interview while the rest of my family is still awaiting a interview ?

I got my Nexus back in 2010 and only at application time went for interview. For renewals over the years, i never had an interview. See

( With the streamlined renewal process, you may not need to do an interview at an enrolment centre. Generally, you do not need an interview if there are no changes to your personal information or new information that may affect your eligibility. )
