NEXUS CARD Government ID accepted for citizenship

Hello everyone,

was just wondering if NEXUS card will help the process of citizenship application ? since this card issued after enhanced background checks from Canada and the USA.

Im a NEXUS card holder can I provide Nexus ID as one of government Photo ID requested for citizenship application ?

Most people send a copy of Canadian driver's license and their health cards......but you can give it a try.
It's an ID after all...

I provided my NEXUS card as ID. But I can't say how much it helped since I submitted a lot of ID

The Nexus card will not result in the application being expedited or processed quicker. The same checks are required. Only submit what is requested. if CIC ask for 2 pieces of ID, provide two!

I actually don't remember. I just sent everything I had. Probably more than 2.
