I see a decision is made in my case and they say they will contact.

How long before i get something in the mail?
I guess i will get my COPR and Passport.
I am visiting Canada right now.
Should i drive over the border and come back or just go to YVR Airport?
Will i get a Passport with my picture or do i have to get pictures and send it back to them to finalize?
I assume i can get a SIN number at the Border, can I start working the next day?
Will it take me 3 months to get a BC Health Card?

Thank you very much.

If you are an outland applicant:
1. yes, the copr and passport will be mailed to the applicant at the address listed on the application. i am not sure if visa offices abroad will send the package to canada, so it's best to double check the mailing address you provided them. in your passport request, you would have received information/instructions about this.
2. if you are already in canada, you will need to DRIVE to a US border and "flagpole". you will not be able to do this at an airport.
3. if they didn't request more pictures, then the pictures you sent will be used for your COPR. Once your pr card app arrives at the syndey, ns office, they will notify you if you need to send additional pictures. you will not received your pr card at landing.
4.no, you can not get your SIN# at the border. Only a few airports have this service, and since you are in canada already you will not be able to use those. you will have to go to your local service canada office to get your SIN#. All you need is your passport and COPR.
5. i am not sure if there is a wait time for BC healthcare. you will be able to sign up for this at the service canada office where you get your SIN#. IT is required to be able to prove your residence, and there are only specific documents they will accept. definitely do a search on this forum for more info on BC healthcare. or hopefully an expert will be able to point you in the right direction.
