Hello all,

I have submitted all my documents as well as my biometrics for my application. I am currently residing in Virginia and plan to move to Boston soon for personal reasons.
Do I need to do anything else regarding my application? Does Canada require sending the passport for stamping or I am good now since everything will be given to me electronically and stamping will only happen at the port of entry?

Thank you!

You'll get a letter of introduction to present at a port of entry.
Yes that is correct. I don’t need to send my passport for any stamping, do I? I have heard both; passport is required to be sent for stamping and passport is not required until you arrive at the port of entry. So I am a little confused

If IRCC does not request your passport and send the letter of introduction to your Gc Key, then you are good to go. Moreover, they will let you know if they need your passport.
And for the stamping, it is done at the port of entry.

You're not good to go unless you have had your study permit approved and you have been sent your letter of introduction. As an Indian national and visa national, you will have to submit your passport for insertion of a TRV temporary resident visa, but this happens at the end.

Yes, that is correct. I got to know the same thing through my research. My only question is; I applied for my visa living in Virginia (my application has my Virginia address) but I have to move to Boston for personal reasons. When the time arrives for the TRV temporary resident stamping, I can do it at a center in Boston as well right? I am not restricted to do it in Virginia, right?
