Just to be sure - you have been informed by the embassy that the passport + visa issued is ready for collection ? and you have "decision made" on ecas?

If that's the case, then - you're done with immigration. The only ( and last part) thing left is to buy a ticket, organise your things in your country of origin and move to Canada - at the airport, you will complete the landing formalities ( inform them you want to land when you arrive) and they will verify with you where to send the PR card etc, and welcome you to Canada!

05-02-2015 Finally
hello,
I have some related questions. I don't drive right now ( working on it, I can legally hold a learner's permit and I do (I may have my driver's license by the time I land, we'll see. Hopefully) so my parents may be driving me. They are not landing, just me. Can they tell CBSA that only I'm landing and explain the situation. They have always driven me into Canada and told them they were meeting my boyfriend( at the time) for my visits into Canada( although a few times it was me and my fiance). Can they drop me off? My husband (my sponsor) will be waiting ' on the other side' for me.

Or can my husband meet my parents, pick me up and then drive us back into Canada for me to land?

I imagine that if your parents are from the US, and your husband from Canada, they can go back and forth as visa-exempt, so probably both could work - it also depends on what works at that point at the border - if there is a long queue or not, etc. BUt I dont' see any reason why your husband could not cross into the US side, meet you there and walk back to the Canadian side and you land when coming back, or you go with your parents, you land and they just get a normal visitor stamp, and all of you meet your husband on the other side - and have a coffee together to celebrate! :)
good luck,

I walk through the Canada/US border all the time. I park my car a few blocks from the border, walk the rest of the way, and do the same in reverse. There's almost never a line so I get through much faster than I would with a car.

You could just have your parents drop you off a few blocks before the border and have your husband meet you a few blocks away with his car on the other side, if you're really worried about it. I doubt it would be an issue though.
