Hey,
Please pardon me if you think this is a stupid question but i would like to know What happens after receiving 600 points in your CIC account?
I just received them 3 days ago on Friday the May 20th and i am on my work permit which is expiring in one month.

1.Anyone knows what happens next and how long does it take?
2.I applied for police clearances already but should i also book my immigration medical? Where do i book it from?

Any great suggestions from your experience is appreciated.

Thanks

If I understood correctly, the 600 points were already added to your EE account.

That means you will 100% receive ITA in next draw. After that you have 60 days to submit your documents.

As for the processing time after you submitted your application, thats impossible to say but as a rough average, i would suggest 3-5 months. That would cover most applications.

You will find all the information about how to add a spouse after ITA here:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/can-i-add-my-spouse-in-the-ee-profile-after-ita-received-t407553.0.html

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/adding-spouse-in-ee-application-before-ppr-t349631.0.html

Its perfectly possible and fine to do so, as long as you follow all the steps.

Hope that helps!

Hello Moe,
Sorry what kind of steps are we talking about?
I am planning to call one of the doctors from my area which is approved by CIC.GC.CA for medical and book the appointment tomorrow.
If possible and they take me i would like to undergo my Medical tomorrow and get it done.

Sure, you can do your medical upfront. I did mine befire ITa as well.

Just choose a panel physician and let them know its for immigration to Canada and upfront medical. You have to bring your passport to the exam and make sure they choose Non-EDE as exam category.

Medicals are valid for 1 year, so, knowing that you will get ITA soon, thats plenty of time.

I am pretty sure you need your passport because part of them filling out the form is that they enter your citizenship and passport number.

You might want to check with the panel physician to make sure but I know I needed to show my passport during the exam so they could copy some infirmation from it to the emedical form.

Oh No.
Then i guess i gotta wait for 2-3 weeks until i get my passport back.
As I said, there might be a way around it and maybe the physician is happy to accept a copy of your passport instead.

So just go ahead and ask about it when you call to make an appointment with the panel physician.

Looks like you need the original:

1. All fees related to this medical examination are your responsibility.

2. Please bring the following to your medical appointment:

- one recent colour passport size photograph of each family member if not already provided

- eye glasses (if applicable), list of prescription drugs taken or any relevant medical report(s)

- original passport(s) or other proof of identity

http://www.soscanada2000.com/migration/guide/medexaminst.html

You can read through it all to get a good overview of the medical.
