Newborn passport

Hi,

Has anyone applied for their baby's passport recently ?? .. i picked up the mail today from canada post but it only contains the birth certificate and the receipt of the passport fee that has been deducted .... there is no passport inside .... will i get it in a separate mail ?There is no info .... please advise .... thanks a lot.

I had applied for my baby last year (in-person), they returned birth certificate immediately and we got the baby's passport after 5 working days via Canada post.

You can look at the date on receipt to give a bit time (week or two) based on your city/province.
