Hello everybody,
I wanted to ask you about financial support to a baby who will be born in Canada soon. Should we ask for that in advance, or after the birth the income of a family will be checked and the amount to be paid to the child will be determined? Or no financial support will be provided? What is a procedure for that?

You can't ask for financial support until after the baby is born. Whether the baby qualifies for financial support will depend on the parents' status in Canada and how long they have been living in Canada (the parents must have been living in Canada for at least 18 months to qualify).
