Hi everyone, don't wanna dwell too much on things of the past but i just wanna say I'm sorry for the way things ended... end of that!
I haven't posted anything since then but I've read some of the posts and personally i feel a lil sleezy saying Congrats to members through personal msgs, thats not the way we did things before. With that said i just wanna say congrats again to Irving, lonely wifey and i didnt get a chance to Congratulate Ebony and this is certainly not cause of no ill feelings whatsoever but i wanna say a huge Congrats to you and your hubby for this is new life you're bringing into the world.

Lilmaya my pal, Sanchester, posh, lonely wife, jahlove, ked... hope all is well with you guys, never stopped praying for each and everyone of you. Sorry if i left out anyone.. no hard feelings, i don't hold no grudge with anyone.

jahlove-i'm getting real impatient again too! I feel you girl! I sent another email and called my MP! I'm digging for reasons to inquiry again outside of the typical "when will we get redo?" question. Strategy this time is to get the MP to update my husband new place of employment and degree credentials as it is not showing up on our caips notes that this update has been applied to our app. Mp thinks is a good enough reason to make a inquiry!

ked- I was watchin the marathon of Toya family affair on BET. Her wedding was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes or maybe its the pregnancy lol! Anyways i Thought of you girl! Will your wedding be outdoors?

Good Evening All,

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Today was my son's last soccer game and we had a friend's BBQ afterwards. Long day outdoors and my son and husband have crashed and I'm still wide awake so thought I'd check in on my peeps and what a pleasant suprise to see my long time bonafide back in the game!!

proper : Can't tell you how happy I am to see you back! You know we are all here to help get eachother through the struggle but God know how much we want to be here to celebrate with you when your time comes. I think you came back just in time.. NEXT WEEK MI SEH. You may have missed it, I had what i'd like to call a Miss Cleo moment with Irving so don't be surprised if it's Monday you get news cause I'm just sayin...

lonely_wife: I'm saying our first forum baby is gonna be a girl too!! So exciting!! I think my husband does miss certain things about Jamaica though he doesn't say so. I know he does miss running some ball in the evenings as he hasn't been able to find any Jamaican's to play soccer with so far. I see him watch TVJ news on the internet and hear him talk on the phone and I know there are things he misses about home. I think he recogizes that there are things that are better here in Canada but there are also things that were better back home. For the most part I think he's adjusting well. I guess he had a slight advantage working here before so there are few surprises. How about your hub?

Lonely Wifey : Sounds like that passport will be coming home early next week!! Quick turnaround KNG! You are almost there girl!! Congrats!! ;D

We just got an ecas tracker update at 0420 in am..."Interview scheduled for October 3rd 2011" Im so nervous for us but excited at the same time. Hopefully a letter is in the mail or a phone call is coming on Monday for redo or will they wait and give it to him during the interview?? Yippie!!! I'm emailing the mp now to tell her to hold off on sending KG any further emails!

So hubby is doing much better... it's like he's been here forever. The other night we were walking down the street and some guy stepped in front of my husband smiling. Turns out they know eachother from Jamaica.... what are the chances...?

He still hasnt got the pr card but i know from others that there are some delays..

OH!! my husband is in the process of getting his license.... He had a jamaican one. Word of advice... Once your loved one comes to Canada with a valid Jamaican Licence, tell them to go to the Jamaican consulate to get a authentication letter for the jamaican licence and then they can go straight to G2 or G. It was a big run around, but now we know.

Anyways, hope all is well.

ebonyshine if funds permit, if your medical expire by the date of the interview maybe it would be good for him to redo it and when he is there give them the copy which will save them the time of asking for it, also order CAIPS to see why the interview was requested and bring proof of continued communication so that he can get a yes and VISA same day wouldnt that be the best news on halloween

Sanchester good on the licence thing, hubby is heading to the registery, apparently you go tell them you want a international licence, you bring two passport photos signed by a JP, then be sure to check off all the vehicles e.g. big truck.. then voila a internationa licence and you get the full shabang here! for those of you who's hubby's or wives are in jamaica!
