good day all, after reading all the stories for months I have decided to register to get some support from al of you. Fist let me say I commend you for all your patience. So here is where I am at now. My husband papers were submitted Oct 16, 2015, I was approved Jan 5, 2016, application sent to Kingston Feb 8th 2016 for processing. On May 20th, 2016 immigration requested marriage certificate, right of landing fee, and photos for his 3 children ( who wont be accompanying him) and police record for one who turned 18 this year. Docs were to be submitted by July 10th 2016 however my representative submitted them June 5th. Does anyone know what next? Was this a good sign for me?

p.s. I am not sure I posted in the proper section, since I am new I am trying to figure things out still

As the poster above said - it's normal and neither good nor bad - it just means CIC is working on the application. Normally people include all of the items you have listed with their original application package. So it sounds like CIC was requesting documents that were missing from your application.
