All,

I am planning to apply for Canadian PR in Skilled worker category. I filled online questionnaire, it shows I am qualified with basic french knowledge, but my french knowledge is 0.

Any suggestions on how to learn french / how to check exact points I will get is of great help. I am planning to give IELTS.

I am planning to apply for Quebec as I have some friends in montreal.

Anybody from NY/NJ applying to Quebec? inputs on above will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not from NY or NJ (Florida) but I just received my CSQ on Friday :) I'm about to apply for Permanent Residence now, once I go for fingerprinting and get my Police Certificate back from the FBI.

Regarding French, go with the DELF. I know many people who have gone that route. Good luck and keep in touch!

Hi,

Congrats. Thanks for info. I am still in confused states with many different kinds of exam, planning to start learning french by joining FIAF then need to explore further on which test to take
