I am new to this forum. Apparently I have been told this is one of the best forum to exchange ideas and get through your journey and help others.
I am a New Zealand Citizen and Indian OCI holder. I have got a few things to ask please.
1. I would like to submit an application under Express Entry but historical CRS cut-off makes me confused because it shows only two types of cut-off.
a). PVC (Provincial) and;
b). CEC (Canada Experience Class)
If I apply (being Overseas and working in IT- probably NOC Type A) with NO working experience or study in Canada
Question 1- wouldn't I be under FSW (Federal Skill Worker). Is there any separate cut-off for that? Or would my submission fall under CEC (so for comparable CRS cut off score I consider CECC cut-off)? Is that right?
2. I have got my qualifications from Kurukshetra University (4 year B.Tech program) + 2 years MBA from Sikkim Manipal (SMU DE) Distance Learning Education + One year MBA Dual Specialisation from same Sikkim Manipal Distance Learning University (SMU DE).
FYI- Out of 5 approved bodies to conduct ECA- WES being the fastest to process but doesn't recognise Sikkim Manipal (and they have put it on their website that any qualification prior to 2016 won't be assessed so don't submit). Only ICAS (out of all 5) can assess my SMU university. But they take 8-9 months to do the assessment.
Question 2- My CRS cut-off is around 395 (only taking my Bachelors - B.Tech assessed and leaving my Masters qualification assessment). Would you prefer I submit the application without Masters which could take 8 months?
Question 3- In case if cut off is 410 > 420 > 400 > 405 etc etc. (for consecutive fortnightly draw). Does that mean that until CEC cut-off doesn't drop to 395, I won't get selected and won't receive ITA? Do they consider all applicants (may be a large backlog) with low CRS so do they get all those and send ITA to them?
Question 4- If I am not selected due to high CRS cut-off and in the mean time ICAS assesses my Masters qualification which come as recognized/comparable then could I go back to Immigration asking to include my Masters which will boost up my CRS count (around 440)? Does that work that way? Or Do I need to submit another application (if that is so then do i withdraw my previous application or just leave it there?)
Question 5- Does the Nationality matter or is it purely a game of CRS count?
Question 6- Anyone from MDU Rohtak University can answer here please? If someone has got Master of Technology (ECE) from MDU University (Rohtak), they don't have provision to accept online request (from applicant) but looks like as per WES that they have got an established relationship with MDU so MDU can send prescriptions to WES electronically. Has someone gone through this process recently?
