My sister is currently studying at Humber College and will be completing her studies in the upcoming month. She has already enrolled in another college for her second year. However, she still holds a study permit valid for one more year, as she initially came to Canada for a two-year program but later switched to a one-year course.
My main question is: does she need to submit a new study permit application due to the recent changes in the rules? Additionally, her family is with her in Canada – her husband on a Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) and her child on a student visa as a minor. Do they also need to apply for new visas?
