I have read that we can apply sooner for permanent residents if we obtain 3,900hours or 22months of our employment and the new work permit this 2017 is we can leave our employer without affecting our permanent residents after we obtain the said hours and can work with different field once we obtain the open work permit. My question is, do we need an extended work permit still? or if we already have our open work permit then we do not need to obtain a new work permit? This forum applies for those who just obtained their work permit this 2017 Work permit.
