Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I feel like I should now get points based on this:

"A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) will not be needed for certain job offers. Many people in Canada with an LMIA exempt work permit will be able to carry that LMIA exemption under Express Entry if they meet certain conditions."

- I have a post graduation work permit
- It is an open work permit
- Under "employer" (on work permit), it says: ANY
- Under "occupation" (on work permit), it says: ANY
- I have been working in Canada for over 1 year for the same employer, and was informed that my contract will be renewed for 2 years in March 2017.

Shouldn't I get points for this under the new changes? Isn't this considered a job offer now?

That is not a valid job offer.

1 - A PGWP is not a LMIA exempt work permit
2 - Your employer's name has to be in your work permit to have a valid job offer. Since you have an open work permit that is not the case.
3 - You do not qualify for those 50 points

Cheers :)
