New PR planning to sponsor 3-year old daughter

Hi everyone! Just this September 2011, my wife and I landed in Canada as permanent residents. Originally, I was the only one who wanted to apply as PR for Canada, but our consultancy suggested to include my wife in order to fast-track my application. They said for extra points, which we later realized, didn't really matter for the approval of my application. We never wanted to take our daughter here in Canada until we could establish ourselves here for fear that she might not have the same comfortable life in our home country. But my wife can't afford to stay here without our daughter, so she went back home after 20 days. Now, I want to sponsor my 3-yr old daughter so that the three of us could be together again. However, the minimum income requirement I surely cannot meet. Hence, my questions are:

1. Regarding family size unit, do my wife, daughter and I fall under the category of "3 persons" even if I'm sponsoring only my daughter?

2. The required evidence income always mentions of the "12month period income preceding the sponsorship application". Does this mean that I should have been working already for a year here in Canada before I could sponsor my daughter?

3. If in case I'm allowed to sponsor my daughter as early as now, and since I mentioned that I cannot meet the minimum income requirement, can my wife possibly act as co-signer even if she is in our home country, where her income is coming from?

4. The requirements also mention of evidence of interest from the bank deposits. Does it include bank deposits and interests, and all other kinds of income outside Canada?

5. Will bank deposits here in Canada help me meet the financial requirements even if I cannot meet minimum income?

6. Lastly, is it still possible for me to sponsor my 3-yr old daughter as early as now even if I cannot meet any of the financial requirements?

Please help me. Thanks so much guys!

To answer all your questions, there are no income requirements to sponsor a dependent child.

As long as you listed your daughter on your PR application at the time as not accompanying and she had the medical exam, there should be no problem sponsoring her now.

Really?!!!! Yes, she was listed as non-accompanying and she had medical exams. I'm sorry, but I'm just very excited! Thanks so much.

CIC indicates assessment of sponsor is 70 days, and processing in our country is 10 months. But others tell me that if the dependent child is very young, the processing is usually faster. How true?

80% of cases done by 10 months, the average processing would be a bit faster and children even faster because the medicals are simple and so are the background checks because it is not possible for a 3 yo. to be a criminal yet :D
