new PR Card

Hi All,

I got PR in Mar-2015.. still I didn't move to Canada because of family. Now i want to go for first entry in Oct to Nov. I only live for 1 month there then come back to my home country.

I am worried about PR card.. Is it like that we can apply after reached to Canada for PR card or we can apply while living outside Canada.

And how to get card quickly within a month.

Please guide me.

First card will come automatically. No need to apply. You need to give canada address for card delivery. Now processing time is around 68 days.

I mean that Can I apply for urgent PR card process to get in one month. Because I can not stay more than month to get PR card?

is there any urgent process to get PR card? If not then is it necessary to live in Canada till to get PR card or they will send direct to mention address of Canada without any inquiry.

You can not apply for your first PR card on an urgent basis. It will be mailed to the Canadian address that you give except in some cases if the immigration officers learns from you that you will not be at that address when the card will arrive, they could opt to stop the card and tell you to give a permanent address later when you come to settle.

If that happens, you could try to call the call centre after you are inside Canada and try to give them the same address. They may accept and you may get the card in the mail after all.

If it doesn't work and you end up not having a PR card, you could apply for a PR travel document at a Canadian embassy in good time before you want to return. Such travel documents are usually valid for 6 months and good for one entry.

Should to tell that I will leave for one month in Canada and go back to my home country ? or what else I can say to them?

What you tell them depends on what they ask you. If they don't ask how long you are staying, you have no obligation to share that with them.

Urgent processing of permanent resident card
You are in Canada and have not applied
If your travel date is more than three weeks away:

We strive to expedite all urgent applications, however we cannot guarantee that your card will be ready before you leave Canada.

Fill out the application as shown in applying for a permanent resident card.

Include a photocopy of your proof of travel and proof of payment with your application.

The proof of travel, such as tickets or an itinerary, must show:
the dates you will be traveling,
your personal information such as your full name,
that you have a return ticket leaving from Canada , and
your destination (where you are going).

The proof of payment must show that you paid for your ticket in full. It must show:
the date that you paid,
the full amount paid, and
how you paid.

If you do not send all this information, we may not process your application urgently. We will process it normally.
On your envelope, write:
Urgent — Proof of travel included

Next Steps: Within 10 business days, you can check the status of your application online.
If your travel date is in less than three weeks:

We cannot get a PR card to you before you leave Canada. Follow the steps for how you can return to Canada without a PR card.

But as per the above website details it is saying that I can apply for urgent PR card process with some proof of travel that's why I ask you that Should I tell them that I need urgent processing for PR card.

This information is for renewals only. There is really no urgent processing available for new PR's. If you don't believe me, you can ask the immigration officer when you land. I am sure they will tell you the same.
