Hi

can you please help me:

I applied for ECA with my old passport, my name in the old passport was wrongly translated as walaa abOelfatah instead of walaa abDelfatah. recently I renew my passport and they correct the name as walaa abDelfatah.

which passport can I use for express entry
what are my choices to solve this problem?

You will have to use your new, valid passport.

This is a minor issue. You can either write to WES pointing out the discrepancy and asking them to change this in your ECA report or you can explain this to CIC after receiving an ITA.

Thank you for your advice. I explained the mistake in the old passport translation and asked them if i can send the new passport. I contacted them but they said that my name will be as the name in the official document.
What should I do?

That is correct - ECA reports carry the name as it appears on your educational documents. You can explain this discrepancy to CIC after receiving an ITA.
