New Passport

Hi Everyone! I'm a July 2014 applicant.. My cc was charged and I never actually ended up getting my AOR.. Weird but I guess il have to just live with it..

I know it's been really long since I've been on here but just wanted to share that I got my Medical request March 11 and did the entire medical March 20..

Guys I have a question.. If all goes well with my application I know they would request my passport.. My current passport with my visa & bowp will expire dec 2015.. I wanted to get a new passport before they requested my passport for PPR.. Will this be a problem? Do I need to inform CIC when I get a new passport? Can I just send both passports to them when they request?

First off congrats on your medical request mate, you're almost there.

Secondly you still have 9 months on your passport! You'll be done in couple of months mate, don't worry about your passport. This being said if you ever decided to get a new passport you have to inform CIC about it, and then they will send a passport request for your new one.
