New passport

My wife sponsor me for PR from canada. Our sponsorship approved and im waiting for passport submission. I have submitted my passprot photocopy with my application right now my passport damage and i would like to get new passport before my letter receive from CIC.

is it problem my application.

Send them the reason you have given here and wait for a reply with instructions.

Shouldn't be a problem...might cause a bit of a delay, but hopefully not!
