Dear Friends,
I think it's a bad decision by Canadian GOV. Soon they will realize they made a mistake to remove some good professions from their Immigration list. Because higher educated people are the backbone of every economy and even they could not find good jobs but always try to do jobs to move their life and they bring sufficient money to stay while their initial period of time. Also they live peacefully with their family and respects all the rules and laws of Canada as a good citizen. In contrast of Asylum people who did crimes in their country and come to Canada and taking federal aid for nothing.
Instead of closing doors for these professions they should create a quota for such professions, So that at least good people will come time to time who really wants to Seattle in Canadian economy.
On the other hand, regarding New NOC list I never seen a welder or plumber with bachelors degree, even they did not complete H.S.C, Most of them leave their education after S.S.C, because they do not want to further studies. All they wants to earn money for their financial problem. Even if some of them did 2 or 3 year diploma or apprenticeship in plumbing. How much they will get points ?
10/12 years of formal education + 2/3 years of diploma or apprenticeship.
They will not get more than 15 points. May be they will get 21 point for the work experience (with some fraud paper work) but I don't think so they will get good point in IELTS may be some of them will score moderate points. More over, because they are technical and low in education mostly their wives are also low in education. They could claim 2-3 points of their spouse Edu. So it hard for technical people to cope with immigration requirement of 67 Points.
Besides, If Welder or other technical class people one have a good education , experience and job why they move to Canada and leave their home country with the strong ties.
