New Medical Examination?

Hi there....
My husband rec'd a request for new medicals in June. The medical examination was done on June 30th. It has been 2 months now and still nothing. I emailed the embassy a few weeks back and this is what I got....

'We are now awaiting the assessment of your medical results. We will contact you as soon as the medical assessment has been completed. '

I emailed them yesterday again and this is what I got...

'Your case is currently pending the new medical results. As soon as we receive the results we will contact regarding further steps.'

I am just confused if this means that they rec'd the med examination and is now with the CIC medical dept to be reviewed, or they have not rec'd them at all from the DMP. I don't want to email the Embassy again as I know they find this annoying at times.

What are you thought? From the 1st email I understood that the meds have been rec'd and are now being reviewed, but the email from yesterday confused me.

ECAS does not show any new updates. Pls share how you understood these emails?

I understand both emails as saying the same thing - they have either not yet received the medicals from the regional medical centre or they have received them and have not yet completed assessment of them.

I am not sure which office handles medicals for your VO, but I know some of these regional medical centres can be notoriously slow in uploading medicals received from DMPs. Port of Spain is responsible for some of Latin America and the Caribbean and needing to wait on re-done medicals is one of the major delays applicants experience, that I have seen.

It's been 60 days since you re-do, I don't think it should be much longer now for you to wait.
