New LOA after Visa Issued and deferral

There are several students who are in the same boat as me. So, I am asking here since I could not find info anywhere.

I have been issued visa and stamping is done for May'21 intake. But could not attend since registrations in my college are closed.

I was asked to defer the admission to Sep'21 and issued new LOA. How can I notify IRCC about my start date? I was asked by my agent to do so.

Was in the same both and had to wait till the following year before travelling. Never wrote to IRCC again, on arrival was told I should have still travelled and probably sort for another course on arrival as you can transfer schools but then notify IRCC if that happens on arrival. My advise will be to go in and present your letter on arrival. you will be fine, as long as your study permit and TRV are still valid. All the best!
