New landing Tax requirements

Hi,

Planning to land in Jan 2014 but leave after completing landing formalities within a week. No plans to settle in canada for next 2 years.

My kids older than 18 years are studying in Canadian University.

So would I be considered a resident for tax purposes as my children are studying in Canada?

Are your children financially dependent on you? If not, you are a non-resident.
