I was wondering if anyone has any information or advice on the processing times for family sponsorship (common law partner) from inside Canada. I submitted my application in September of 2016 and they were received on October 4th. I have since received my CSQ for Quebec and my OWP. But now when I checked the processing times for inland sponsorship they have changed to two different processing times; those submitted before Dec 7th 2016 and those submitted after, with those submitted after taking only 12 months whilst those submitted before are taking 26 months. Can anyone advise me on why new applications are being given priority or whether their aim is to also try and process all current applications within the same time frame?
