New immigration rules for 2016

Hello everyone,
Just trying to figure out when will the new govt. implement the new rules for 2016 ?
I am an international student waiting for the new rules to come in effect soon so that I can apply for an express entry.

Does anyone have some idea??

Please share some info.

What's your crs points with existing system? Instead of waiting for new system, try to improve points in existing system. No one knows when it will come.

Nobody knows how long it will take for any new rules that might or might not happen to come into effect.

Better to ork with the system we have and do your best to do well in the current system.

Yeah... I support whatever was said above. You need to apply now. I know the Prime Minister said that they would tweak Express Entry to accommodate international students better, but there is no clear definite timeline as to when this would happen.

Exactly my thoughts! When will these rules get implemented and what exact changes are we to expect? All unanswered questions while the clock is ticking so fast.

How many years experience do you have? When is your PGWP expiring and how many points do you have?

it's in the promise stage. So they promised that they will look into it, but nobody knows when or even what changes they would make.

Well, don't. Create a profile now and wait for a draw. Even if your score is ridiculously low, it's still better than waiting for god knows what.

Govt has thousands of much more serious issues than the international students, specially in this economic downturn noone would expect the rules to be changd anytime soon...!! You shouldn't be too optimistic on govt to make rules in favour of you. Rather you should try and fine possible options to get you PR soon...!! Best of Luck
