applied May 15th from VFS. No nothing yet, no medicals request, tracking says processing.
Why is the delay? refusal?

Should i do case specific enquiry or what is the best possible way to know the status?

thanks

Just came across your thread. I am too in a similar situation. So thought of giving you a shout-out for posting here. Btw, did you get a response yet?

My parents applied (together) complete with premedical around the same time time frame. Dad approved. Mom Pending. Don’t know what to do.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

I have a question regarding my parents' super visa. They applied to New Delhi VAC on July 18th 2014 i.e. today.
In the VISA application they have mentioned their date of coming to Canada as 15 Aug 2014.

The VAC representative checked all the documents and was happy that all are in place but she also told my parents that the supervisa processing time is 8 weeks and the date 15th Aug 2014 is not even 4 weeks away. She suggested my parents to write an email to delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca requesting the immigration/visa officer to grant visa before 15th Aug 2014.

It is me who actually helped my parents gather & and fill all documents/forms after taking help from forums on CanadaVisa.com and before applying i even checked for the processing time for TRV -Supervisa on www.cic.gc.ca which is just 9 days for New Delhi. Please refer http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/visitors.asp#asia

But she also accepted the VISA application.

Please let me know:

1. Should my parents actually write email as suggested by the VAC representative?
2. If they write or do not write email, in such circumstances can the VISA officer reject/refuse the VISA or he will grant the visa for a later date (provided all other conditions are met)?

Your replies would be much appreciated.

Please suggest.

Thanks,
ASJ

I found this on new delhi visa office page for super visa. Is this true? This is ridiculous because the sole purpose of the supervisa is to cut off the long back log. Now new delhi wants 3 years of noa. So stupid.

"Proof of the inviter’s ability to provide promised financial support including but not limited to Notice of Assessment (NOA) for the past three tax years, employment letter identifying salary, pay stubs, bank statements, etc."

I am here for only 1.5 years and on (Friday Aug 22, 2014) my parents' supervisa is granted. My parents also applied to New Delhi Visa office through VFS Nehru place on July 18, 2014.

Here is the list of docs which i sent to my parents:

1. One year NOA (myself and my spouse)
2. One year T4 slips (myself and my spouse)
3. Employment verification document from your employer stating since when you are working with them, your designation & your gross annual salary (myself and my spouse)

Suggest you to provide them with all the above and they should be okay.

Congratulations ASJ,

Thanks for your help. What about the documents from their side like property, bank balance etc?

Could you please shed some lights on this?

Congratulations ASJ,

For my parents we submitted below documents:

1. Marriage certificate
2. Bank accounts statements (does not really matter how much money they have, this is to show their ties with India)
3. Copies of any investments in parents name like - National Saving certificates from post office, fixed deposits, mutual fund, share investment etc. i only submit FD copies
3. Pension card/slips/cheques photocopy to show their ties with India

Many people do not get pension so you can submit property papers in their name or any other document by which you can show their ties with India.
Do remember to submit copy of your birth certificate and indian passoport showing your parents names on them.
Dont worry it is quite simple if all the documents are ok and they pass medical exam they will get the visa.

In my last post i forgot to mention that i also submit last 6 months paystubs for myselft and my wife. Hope this helps.

Good luck.
