New Delhi or Bangalore Canada Visa Office ???

Hello,

My mother and sister submitted Visitor visa application to VFS Canada Visa Application office yesterday at Ahmedabad Gujarat India.

They got email from VFS that their application has been sent to Canada Visa Office New Delhi for processing but when they check online on VFS Tracking Online.... it is showing that their application has been sent to Canada Visa Office in Bangalore.

Which one is correct ?? New Delhi or Bangalore ??!

Hi,

Their visa applications will be processed by the Bangalore Consulate..... the Bangalore Visa Office which opened last year handles visa applications from all southern states, Maharashtra and Gujarat

Hello Bryanna,

I read in ur other post that TRV applications at Bangalore Visa office are taking longer time to process.

Cic web page is showing 8 working days. How long actually does it take for TRV decision???

My mother and sister applied via paper application. I heard that they will get email if embassy approve their VISA. Is that true ??

Timelines posted on the CIC website are only indicative..... average processing times

Someone from Mumbai got a passport request in just 2 days last week, whereas other people have recently told me that their TRVs took 2-3 business weeks.

It all depends on the quality of the TRV application + the applicant's circumstances/previous travel history, etc.... if this is presented properly then TRVs are possible even in 2-3 days


btw the Bangalore visa office will become the largest one for visa processing in India.

No, they will NOT get any emails if they are approved.... the only emails that one gets are for the status of processing/passport despatch to the VAC

Your mom/sis will have to wait until they get their passports back to know if TRVs are granted.... there's absolutely no other way of knowing before this

Hello Friends, I have a query....

I had applied for BOWP for myself and dependent/visitor visa for my family back in Nov 2015
Our visa was approved and I received the approved documents in March/2016
But due to a personal emergency, my wife had to travel back to our home country in Jan/2016.
After getting our Visa's approved, we applied for TRV to ensure we can travel...I applied in Canada and my wife applied in India (Bangalore)
I have received my passport back from Ottawa, but my wife has not received it yet from Bangalore VFS...She submitted on April 11/2016.

Does anybody has any experience on the time they take to stamp the passport for TRV and return it back?

I have my valid post graduate work permit till 2019 but I forgot to renew my visa to work visa when I came to India for vacation.So I contacted an agent in Delhi to get my passport stamped.

How long will be the processing and is there any problem to getting visa.What are the documents required ???
