a question for all those who got their visa...wat is the validity of the visa???.....i mean how much time they give you to reach canada

It depend on the expiry date of medicals.max is till your medical expire.mine was for 2 months

Why did we have very few updates this week? Just a couple I believe? With over 50 applicants with the status of "In Process" just 1-2 PPR and no 1 DM? Whats NDVO up to? Whats with so many applications with an "IP" status? Can't they just get them done and over with, esp. with all the checks done (only then I believe an application goes into the status of "IP")?

On a side note: Kan_Sri did your application status change yet? Did you order AITP notes to get an insight into whats happening with your application?

my spouse sponsorship file for outland case is in newdelhi and currently we got AOR2 from newdelhi last month.

my query is asunder

when i submit medical of my wife in CPM-M it was about to expire as i did medical in sept 2013 and kept it at home for 9 months and then send it but still they have updatd on ECAS medical results have been recievd.
now newdelhi may take approx 6 months for processing as per others timeline of newdelhi applicants , i want to ask WILL NEW DELHI ASK FOR RE-MEDICAL before PPR OR they never ask remedical as MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECIEVED updated in ECAS

reason i am asking this is i was visitng wife for short trip and if she gets pregnant then no xray is allowed for 9 months so it safe she do her remedical again in handy in case new delhi ask or we donot need it as ecas says medical result recieved. but now i am sure it is expired and still my file is just recieved by new delhi,but they had not asked re-medical .

i heard Visa is 1 year from medical expiry but my wife medical is already expired as per my calculations so what sud i do as i am afraid if she gets pregnant then how to do medical again?so sud we send remedical without their asking or just keep it as i dont want to complicate the case if she gets pregnant during my short trip and then she had to wait for 1 year and include child...i am very very confused help me

NDVO will surely ask for remedial sat a later stage.there is timeline grey send fir remedicals and we have to comply same.the trickiest part is you don't know when they will ask for remedial as they work in unpredictable way.precautionary you can have one now to avoid chances of not doing remedicals in case novo timely request

Dear All.. I dont know whether to believe my eyes or not... I got a passport request today... My time line is AR/MR: 11-4-14 Meds: 18-11-13 IP:25-9-14

Gosh.. I did not expect it so did not even check email since morning.. cant b'live the ppr was sitting pretty in my inbox since 10am.. pinching myself to confirm that i'm not dreaming..

I am so glad I had you all for support through the horrible times (and for all you know, till I get my pp back with visa, cannot discount something going wrong now either)... My love and best wishes for all of you who are waiting for the visas and also for those who are on their way..

I have another pertinent question.. the e-mail says I have to send my pp to visa office in new delhi.. I am in mumbai.. I'll be going to the mumbai vfs office to see if i can submit it there but just in case anyone has an answer please let me know... Thanks in anticipation

Hello friends, i am new to this forum. I have a question please clarify.

I recently got married, my husband has gone back to canada. He is not having a permanent job in canada, he is currently doing labor job obtained through agency.
1) Now I wanted to know that can he sponsor me if he is doing a labor job or should he wait for a good permanent job?
2) how can he get a employment letter if he is doing a job through an agency?
3) how much work experience does he need to show? because he has been working only for past 20 days.

I hope to get some replies from the seniors here,
Please give suggestions.

HE CAN GET EASILY FROM HIS WORK OWNER.
NO ANY CONDITION REGARDING JOB OR EXPERIENCE.

The only thing that matters is does hi pay tax to the government ? Because no matter whatever job he is doing he has to be a tax payee and must show proofs of his income to CIC and that he is capable of sponsoring his spouse. .. rest is no big deal... he can meet a lawyer over there and make a list of MUST NEEDED DOCUMENTS for your spousal application. .

It should not take more than a week pr max 10 days. I am waiting for the same. Submitted passport on 6 Oct.

There are no income requirements for sponsoring your spouse. All the sponsor needs to show is that they're not on any sort of social assistance or other financial trouble (ie owe money for child support or are bankrupt).Although he needs to submit the print out Option C (Income Tax Remittance).Read more about it here:

Thanks Ishvas.. although my timeline suggests otherwise, technically i did apply in march (them losing the application did not count, i guess ) plus my medicals are expiring in Nov.. so maybe they just wanted to get rid of me
