Hi Experts,
Me and my wife both have a COPR approved till 26th Aug 2020. However, we are expecting and the baby is due end of August. Initially we had planned to visit Canada to claim the PR in the month of April, but due to the current pandemic situation and travel bans we will now have to postpone our tickets.
We are now in a dilemma how to proceed with the current situation. I have couple of questions below. Please help me to get the answers for those.
1. If we travel to Canada prior to Aug 26th, claim the PR and travel back to our home country what would be next steps to get the child processed and get him/her along?
2. If as a result of COVID - our COPR gets extended, we are unable to travel, the child is born, would the best course of action be to add the child to our PR case and take it forward from there?
3. What is the processing time for TRV and TRP? As TRV gets rejected very often for the kids whose parents have PR can we directly apply for TRP?
Thanks in advance.
