NEW APPLICATION PACKAGE - Confusion with Proof of Relationship

Hi,

I stay outside and my wife stays in Canada. We got married recently and my wife had to go back to Canada to resume her work within a month.

The Proof of Relationship in the New Application Package states that if i am currently living with my wife , i have to provide utility bills, joint bank account, insurances, etc.
If we both don't stay together still we need to show these documents.

We both barely got time of about 3 weeks to stay with each other. How am i supposed to provide a joint bank account, get insurance and utility bills on the same address.

Can anyone please help me to understand this section.

Any help or questions would be appreciated.

Are you reading this on the checklist...if so..keep looking a bit further down that page. The first part of #7 says if you are living with your spouse to provide it. But further down says what to provide if you did not answer yes to all of the options. You do not need to "joint bank account, get insurance and utility bills on the same address." if you are not living together. You'll need 1 document from at least 3 of the proof options they list.

It still seems little confusing to me.
Checklist mentions that If you do not answer Yes to all four questions in #7 (for me i havent answered Yes to all),
provide
a. Photos
b. One document from 3

Then below it also says, If you are not living together, also provide other documents. It means we need to provide the above documents as well.
The above 2 lines put me in doubt.

I am sorry if this annoys you. I just want to make sure that i am on the right track.

No worries Questions are always welcomed. Stuff with CIC is confusing--although this app is way better than when I applied.

Since you are not living together that means you answered at least 1 of the top 4 questions with a no. So you need to provide the photos and then select 3 different items from that list that you are able to provide. They do not give many options. Looks like you are left with - Document showing you are each other's spouse, Proof your relationship is known to others, and evidence of financial support for each other--might want to open a joint bank account if you don't have one.

Then, you'll also need to provide no more than 10 pages of conversation--texts, letters, etc. and proof of visits with each other.

Think about this in a different way from the viewpoint of the visa officer reviewing application. How would you want to be convinced that the marriage/relationship is genuine and not just arranged purely for immigration purposes. So as per the above post no matter how trivial some proof might seem to show a genuine marriage/relationship put it all together in the application. Good luck

Everything we have is valid and my marriage is genuine but none of the government authority in would give my wife any thing on my address since all her documents have different address with me after marriage.
Changing addresses even on some of the documents does take more than a month. Also, i would need her presence here to sign all those documents.
After marriage, my wife has resumed back her work in Canada so we got very less time of around 20-25 days after our marriage and thought that we would send the application immediately. But this came as a show stopper for us.

I can see from other angle which is correct. But it is really tough for couples who don't stay together but still are being asked for government authorised documents with same address.
I can imagine from a visa officer's point of view. The proof's they mentioned are very important and an important proof of marriage.

I shall get confirmation on how much time it takes to change address in the documents.

Could anyone also help me with this. Same question but there are 6 options mentioned in Question 7 but, it says only 1 of 3 documents. What should be done ?
Is marriage certificate a valid document for Q7 ?
Can i add my wife as a dependant in my company insurance policy and use this document for Q7 ?

I still have lots of questions in my mind. Hope to clear them all with your help.

I was confused too so i went to the Immigration & Sponsorship Office and talked with a Sponsorship Specialist.
