New Applicant Under FSW Category NOC0013, problematic about IELTS results

Hi there! I am a newbie here, so please bear with me.

We were refused (by Agency) to continue our application because my husband, being the principal applicant got a 5.5 band score in Reading, we have no choice but for my husband to re-take the exam this September, is the immigration really strict about the IELTS score? though we both got the 6.5 overall score.

Can we push thru with the application while waiting for the IELTS results? I am afraid this will cause delay

You do not have a choice. If the principal applicant has a score of less than 6 in any one of the four categories - it's an instant rejection by CIC.

If you submit your application without a valid IELTS score sheet - it's an instant rejection by CIC.
