Since I would think that the Indian Post Office had a hand in it, it would be interesting to know how long it took them to get to Canada Post in Canada.

it's really a bad experience, but these things happen to many people. we must not blame each and everyone for the fault of perhaps just one individual. and remember better late tha never. i have heard people saying that their mail lost in transit. at least ur communique reached them.

I have never had a problem with Canada Post. I always used the mail for immigration. Immigration takes such a long time anyway that the post is the least of it. A month is pretty long though. Did you sent it via surface mail?

Well ARK, I sent my application through FEDEX to Sydney. At the time of handing over the documents, they estimated the delivery time to be 4 days. Eventually, it took 25 days, 7 phone calls 3 e-mails and one loud argument with some helpless trainee who knew nothing about the FEDEX tracking system, to get the documents delivered. How's that for service?

I've had much better experience in sending documents overseas from the local post office, DHL and UPS. But I guess it all depends on your luck too.

Canada Post is one the world's most successful if not the most successful.

Just because one mail didn't reach in time, doesn't mean an entire crown corporation is incompetent.
