Never received AOR. Is it normal?

Hey everyone, I hope all is good with all of you!

Is it normal to not receive AOR?

I got an email notification that my package has been transfered to New York office in May 2011 and I got a request for medical and right of residence fee in the mail in September 2011.

For the life of me, I can't remember if I received AOR. I'm pretty sure I didn't. What does this mean?

Plus, when do they tell you if your interview is waived or not?

Congrats, it sounds like you're almost through. No, it's not normal to not get an AOR, but it could have come by email (if you gave an email address). It would have come before the file was transferred to NY. (Or at the same time?). It is possible that it simply got lost in the mail...

As for the interview, its waived for most CEC applicants. No guarantees, but if they have requested the RPRF, it is unlikely you will be called after that for an interview...

Thank you again for your comment. I emailed the buffalo office in January 2011 because I have not received any email or letter from them acknowledging the receipt of my package for 3 months. They just replied that it takes longer than 30 weeks to send the AOR.

I didn't get anything from buffalo neither via email nor via mail until May 2011. This is when they informed me via email that my file has been transfered to NY. NY office never send me an AOR either. (It's scary to think that it was not delivered to me because it got lost in the mail!)

Well, the fact that I got the medical forms from NY via mail pretty much confirms that they had indeed received my file. But, just weird that I didn't get AOR when everyone else gets it....

yeah it is interesting and i sent teh same mail to the office even after a week i submitted my application because i couldnt find the information of how long will it take for teh AOR. And they replied 30 weeks which really got me worried for a bit that really that long? but then i read it on teh web it takes upto 90 days and hopefully i will have it by the starting of noovember.

Heu Umariz, did you check your online CIC status? I checked mine, it got updated to they received my null.

Yes, at the time you applied, it was taking about 4-5 months for people to get their AORs, but you should have received it months ago. Presumably you have received your file number through these other communications, so I wouldn't worry about it.

No, there is somethign funky going on here. It says info is not correct. I am not sure, I called the Call center and they said that some people have issues with that, try again and then send an e-mail to Webmaster and so i did. It updates on tuesdays. Let's see if i can get something after next tuesday or if webmaster get back to me before that.It's a little annoying but i guess it's a pateince game!
