Hi, I have encountered a section on the document checklist under proof of relationship stating that I needed to provide at least 2 of the following; however, I only have one checked.
1.) Important documents for you and your spouse that you are recognized each other as spouse (employment or insurance benefits)
2.) Documentary Evidence of financial support between you and your sponsor, and or shared expenses
3.) Other proof of relationship that is recognize by friends and/or family (letters from family or friends, or social media information showing public relationship)
4.) Proof of past cohabitation, if you're currently not living together.
As for no. 1, I'm currently a nursing student graduating next year and my only current work right now is basically part-time; however my wife has a stable job(teacher) in Japan. We also just got married 3 months ago so we couldn't provide any exchange of money between the two of us because I have student loan that is enough to support my needs and she also provides for herself as she has a stable job between the two of us. She also understands my current situation as I am still a student. We didn't share any expenses as we don't own any property such as houses or vehicles as both countries are expensive to own some property and vehicles. For proof of relationship, we do have letters from family and social media information displaying our relationship. The last choice is also not applicable to us because my entry to Japan is only a tourists visa, the same as hers when she comes to Canada. We can only spend a certain amount of time in each other's countries. Our only evidence is our text messages, call logs, pictures, love letters, airplane tickets, social media, marriage certificate, and letters from our family recognizing our relationship.
