Pre-Assessed..
My husband received a letter from manila embassy asking for he's passport.. And we noticed that he's family name was incorrectly written on the letter and the same as on e-cas. He's using STA. CRUZ and the name was entered was SANTA CRUZ. We request an update to embassy for family name change, unfortunately we can't contact them on phone, email and/or fax. We just want everthing to be uniform to avoid confusion and conflict in the future.

Does somebody here had experience the same problem like my husband? What should we do? DO you know any toll free # that we can contact? Is it a good idea when we send he's passport to embassy, we will send a letter request for family name change at the same time?

Please help us. thank you so much...

So submitt his passport whn you send it in send a letter with it,stating that you noticed they have been using the wrong name, ask them to make sure everything is the same as his passport.

There is usually a form you have to send with the passport to update your details/make sure they have them the same as the passport, but also add in a letter to point out they have the wrong spelling! Good luck I hope your Husband gets his Passport back soon and can Land soon :D
