hello Everyone,

I go tmy PR last month, and now i want to get married before landing, My futur husband is studiyng in Canada.

I will not include him in my app, he wants to aply by himself.

They say that we have to inform them of any change before landing, so I'm scared if i get married and inform them they will say that i'm going to stay in quebec, even if it's not true my futur husband will finish next may and wants to move outide of quebec.

So in your opinion, it will be better for me to land then getting married of there is no risk getting married before landing.

Thanks for your help

I think it's best to have the marriage after your landing, although you said that he will apply for his own pr, but the fact that there will be a change in your status prior to landing you have to let CIC know that, and this will delay your PR.

simple way to resolve this issue is , get married in the country you are, don't mention any thing about your marriage in your application.
Once you land in Canada, go for court marriage and then take it forward from there.
I know people who have done this in USA, and they never had any problem.

getting married in any country still means are married and not single as per PR application which is a legal document so if ever found out could be misrepresentation and PR cancelled. Just because somebody has done this and not had a problem means nothing it is still misrepresentation as far as the PR application is concerned and could affect your PR and your husband to be. Just land get married in Canada and if you want a ceremony in home country have one later there after having secured PR

This is extremely BAD advice. The OP needs to either be single, as stated in the COPR document or add the new husband to the application, even if he will be non-accompanying. Anything else risks loss of PR and a ban from Canada for both of them for 5 years because of misrepresentation.
