Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Guys, my employer failed to post the job advertisement for a minimum of 14 days as part of LMO requirements. He told me that he re posted it for another 10 days because he only posted it for 5 days. But as he said it will not appear or maybe it will not be visible in the job bank, i don't understand why he says that. Do think that is possible?

Perhaps during the 5 days the advertisement was posted, he already shortlist candidates and performs interviews until he made his decision to choose me. Do you think this is already a proof?

Im so worried with this LMO thing. I've read the criteria, it think it depends if the govt wants to hire you or not.

It has to appear and the employer has to print a copy of the ad and send this copy together with a summary of who applied and why were they not considered, etc.

Hi there, I am looking at doing the same thing, my employer is going to advertise for 3months before we apply for our LMO, what do we do then? with the LMO form do you attach the other Resume's and also my resume? To prove that I am the best applicant?
thanks

The position doesn't have to be advertised for three months. Your employer does not attach the resumes, only the names and whentehr they were interviewed or not and if there were Canadian Citizens or PRs who applied, the reason why they were not considered for the position.

thank you job_seeker.

How can we prove that I am the best applicant then? For us it is because of my age, length of time in the industry, and personality that they know gels well with the staff and clientele.

thanks again.

Hi... Just make sure you meet their job requirements. Trainings, certificate, work experience, just to name a few.
