I can across this forum while searching for certain quires that i have regarding my visa application. I can really use the expertise of this forum members before applying my visa.
Here is my case.
I got an offer from Seneca college, Toronto, Canada in "Visual effects for film & Television" for January'13 intake. Its a 1 year course ( 2 semesters) leading to Post Graduate Certificate.
I have already paid my 1st semester fee of $11,147 and will be paying my 2nd sem fee of $11,097 in 2-3 days. Also am waiting for my education load to be approved after which am planning
to apply my visa under SPP (hope to do it next week or asap).
Coming to my education history:
10th (CBSE) - 83%
12th (CBSE) - 81%
BE. computer science - 70%
Diploma in 3d course ( 26 month long course )
IELTS - 7.5 overall
I completed my BE in 2010. I had 6 backlogs in total, although i did complete my degree in 4 years, and the 3d animation course which i started midway during engineering got over in sept 2011.
After that i applied to seneca for september 2012 intake and there was some issue regarding the payment of my application fees and my application was not considered. Till i came to know about
this it was too late as the seats got filled up. Then i got the seat for January 2013.
My concern is of these things :
There is a gap of 1year 2months
Will my BE degree cause any issue of course mismatch in the view of VO.
Should i be concerned with the number of backlogs that i have.
Should i include an SOP explaining these. Also the SPP norms says not to include any additional documents. Will an SOP under spp application cause any delays in processing..
Please help. How should i go about applying my visa to improve my chance.
