If a Jamaican who is about to leave for Canada on a study permit has a 7 year old child who is a US citizen does the child need a study permit as well or some form of document to enter Canada? Or can the child just travel on their US passport?

I don't know if any country specific relegations but My daughter also is a US passport holder and my wife was student here in Canada (with student visa no US passport) she went to our home country and on the way back my daughter US passport was enough. So I believe there is no restriction to enter canada she can enter with us passport. I hope this information will help
