Need urgent help

Hi,
I have received "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour visa" mail from CIC. But my problem is that I have shifted from the country where I applied to a different one. I am yet to take a new address here, so I couldn't update the address in the portal. I only have time till 2 Sept to submit our passports to VFS in our mother country. Can anyone help me with my below questions?
1 Can I submit my passports at VFS in my present country?
2 Will my visa be refused for not letting them know if the change in situation?

I only have a few days to submit my passports. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

your information will be sent to the LVO which will stamp your visa, not sure if other visa offices get this. you need to inform them about the address change through CSE webform https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
they will inform you what to do next.
